    This is a quick and flavorful stir-fry dish featuring tender beef, crisp broccoli, and a savory, slightly sweet sauce. It's perfect for a balanced and satisfying meal, served over rice or a low-carb alternative like cauliflower rice.

    🛒 Ingredients

    • For the Beef & Marinade:

      • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil)
      • 3 cups broccoli florets
      • 1 small carrot, julienned (optional)
      • 3 cloves garlic, minced
      • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
      • ¼ cup water

      • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
      • 1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
      • 1 tbsp cornstarch
      • ½ cup beef broth or water
      • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
    • For Serving:
      • 2 cups cooked white rice, brown rice, or cauliflower rice
      • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
      • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

    👩🏻‍🍳 Directions

    • Marinate the Beef:
      • In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper.
      • Add thinly sliced beef and toss to coat.
      • Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour for more flavor).
    • Prepare the Sauce:
      • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth.
      • Set aside.
    • Cook the Broccoli & Veggies:
      • Heat ½ tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
      • Add broccoli and carrots, then pour in ¼ cup water and cover.
      • Steam for 2–3 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
      • Remove from the pan and set aside.
    • Cook the Beef:
      • Add the remaining ½ tbsp oil to the pan.
      • Add garlic and ginger, then stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
      • Add marinated beef in a single layer.
      • Sear for 2 minutes per side, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
    • Combine & Finish:
      1. Return the broccoli and carrots to the pan with the beef.
      2. Stir the sauce again and pour it over the beef and veggies.
      3. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.
    • Serve:
      • Spoon beef and broccoli in bowl
      • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
      • Enjoy hot!
